Born in Benoni and now proudly based in Cape Town, Mr. D has walked the real start-up road himself. After running his own small business, he learned just how tough it can be to juggle everything – from invoices to ideas – and decided there had to be a smarter way. 

That’s where his love for AI and tech kicked in. A lifelong gamer and problem-solver, he started building Fundi AI with one clear mission: to make life easier for local entrepreneurs and small businesses. 

Today, he’s the human heartbeat behind the Fundi team – blending creativity, strategy, and a good dose of Mzansi grit to help others level up their own business journeys.
